Monday 3rd December 2012 - Unicom donate £500 to Rosehill Community Farm and Garden
The Unicom Community Support Scheme has donated £500 to the Rosehill Community Farm and Garden project.
The project is a community organisation which is regenerating a disused site into an open access community facility to help improve the local environment.
Andrew Dopson, Managing Director of the not for profit organisation running the regeneration project, explains: “Donations from companies such as Unicom are vital to our ongoing project. We plan to regenerate the site to allow community meeting facilities, community tools and equipment, seating areas to encourage socialising, greenhouses for propagation and training and many more features which will benefit the local community.”
Chris Earle, CEO, commented: “This is exactly the sort of project we want to contribute to; The money is going to a worthy local cause that will benefit the community in many different ways. I look forward to watching the project develop.”
